Binding: round, recessed, slightly profiled bronze sheet frame, embossed with pearl ornaments and palmette motifs, bronze bow at the top. Illegible inscriptions on the back of the miniature and inside the binding; inscription on the board closing the binding: 1636., A circular framed portrait showing a person with long dark brown hair and a curled mustache and small beard, wearing a dark-colored garment with a light collar; the face has warm skin tones with subtle reddish and brown shading and a neutral expression. The round frame is ornate and metallic-looking in a gold color with decorative patterns and a bow-shaped ornament at the top in the same gold color. The background outside the frame is a flat gray color. The portrait interior behind the figure is a dark brown to black gradient.
