Low powdered white wig, gray eyes, black scarf around the neck, white shirt, and a red ruffle from a caftan with white piping. Silver cuirass, yellow belt with white edges, gold saber. Sapphire uniform with red lining, matching cuffs and collar trimmed with silver. Background: brownish mountains, grayish green and gray-turquoise sky. Miniature, 1742, Strasbourg; height 7.8 cm, width 6.6 cm. Binding: narrow rectangular profiled strip, metal. Subjects: rulers; soldiers cuirass, hussar jacket with braiding; landscapes mountain; foreign miniatures; powdered wig., A framed painted portrait of a person with pale skin and white powdered hair, wearing a dark blue coat with silver braiding and red cuffs, a red waistcoat or sash, and a metallic breastplate; the figure's right hand rests on a dark rock and the left hand is on the hip near a decorative belt and sword hilt; the background shows muted green and gray sky tones with some earthy brown and ochre areas; the frame is gold-colored with a small gold-colored hanging loop above it.
