Inside the oval, a woman with pale skin and dark brown hair styled with small curls and a longer ringlet at one side wears a white high-waisted dress with a gathered bodice and short sleeves. She has a pair of drop earrings and layered gold necklaces with oval pendants that have orange-red accents. The portrait background is a muted bluish-gray with a subtle textured appearance. The leather backing shows worn areas and varied shades of brown and the metallic elements show gold and aged patina.
