Black hair, short, parted in the middle; blue eyes. White shirt, black tie, blue vest, grey frock coat. Background: paper color. Miniature, height 9.3 cm, width 5.8 cm. Poorly legible inscription on reverse: Ka.la.owka / Nabielaka R.27 / 19/3 1859. Frame: ash-gray passe-partout in a wooden frame, decorated with classicizing ornaments in gilded plaster. Locations associated with the artist: Munich Germany, Vienna Austria, Lviv Ukraine., A framed painted portrait of a young person set within a wide mat and ornate frame. The portrait shows a head and upper torso with dark hair, a neutral facial expression, a dark bow at the neck, and a jacket and shirt in muted tones. The mat surrounding the portrait is a light gray-beige color. The frame has a glossy dark brown wood inner band and an outer decorative gold band with carved scrolling details, with small areas of wear and scratches visible.
