Portrait of Count Adam Józef Potocki 1822–1872 from Krzeszowice, by Moritz-Michael Daffinger 1790–1849, en face half-figure miniature 3/4 right, head almost straight, dated 1848–1850, Vienna. Blond hair and mustache; white shirt, black cravat tied with a bow, sandy waistcoat, dark brown coat. Background: lilac-blue sky with clouds, lighter below. Ornamented oval frame of gilded brass, pearled all around, bow at the top fastened with a flower, hanging ring and support. Dimensions: height 9.4 cm, width 7.8 cm. Inscription on the reverse likely made by Zofia Potocka or at her request., A metallic oval object with a decorative cutout element at the top and a hinged ring attached, shown against a pale gray background; the metal surface is mostly gold in color with areas of darker tarnish and subtle scratches, and a raised central support piece in a similar gold tone that extends from near the top toward the bottom; there are small dark spots and smudges on the surface and a visible screw near the lower edge.
