Portrait of Róza Potocka 1760–1862, also known as Antoniowa Potocka and Grzegorzowa Branicka; miniature portrait by Paul W. active ca. 1860–1880, painted in 1860; watercolor miniature, height 9.4 cm, width 7.7 cm; depicts aristocratic costume and headgear, female portrait., An oval gold locket opened to show a painted portrait in the top half and a blue fabric interior in the bottom half; the portrait depicts an older woman with pale skin and grayish hair wearing a black dress with a white lace collar and a dark bow at the front, and a dark bonnet or headpiece decorated with bright blue ribbons framing her face, set against a muted brown background; the locket frame is gold with a hinge connecting the two halves, and the lower compartment shows a deep blue fabric lining surrounded by the gold metal.
