Frederick VI of Denmark 1768–1839, King of Denmark; painted by Johann Gorbitz 1782–1853. Miniature portrait 1815, height 5.3 cm, width 3.7 cm. Bust in full view, head facing right. Depicts a man in a red uniform with blue collar and rebates; wearing the star and ribbon of the Order of the Elephant and the cross of the Order of the Dannebrog. Background plain, brownish. Binding: gilded bronze. Attributions: Anna Chamiec; scientific cards Iza Wiercinska., An oval pendant with a gold frame contains a painted portrait of a young person with pale blond hair and light skin, shown from the chest up against a dark background; they wear a red coat with gray epaulets and decorative gold details, a bright blue sash across the chest, and a black high collar, and the pendant hangs from a small gold loop.
