Bust 3/4 left, lion-style wig parted in the middle and falling in curls over the shoulders, high forehead, dark eyes, regular features, pink cheeks and lips. A white lace cravat tied in a knot at the neck; the collar is richly braided with gold and has a wide red edge. Background almost invisible. Oval wooden frame with plaster ornaments around the rim, gilded and patinated in green and blue. 1680, miniature; height 4.4 cm, width 3.5 cm., An oval painted portrait of a person with pale skin and rosy cheeks, shown from the shoulders up and wearing a voluminous curly wig in shades of light beige and cream, set within a decorative oval frame with metallic gold and muted bluish-gray details; the subject has brown eyes and slightly red lips and is dressed in a garment with white fabric at the neck and a richly patterned section in gold and red tones, all against a dark, warm brown background inside the frame and a flat medium gray surrounding area outside the frame.
