Portrait of the Protestant clergyman Archbishop of Trier Johann Hugo von Orsbeck 1634–1711. Painted by Peter Boy 1645–1727 st. and unknown painter. Subject: clergy Protestant in black toga with white tailcoat, male portrait waist-length, 3/4 right, quite young, lion wig gray, parted in middle with soft curls to the shoulders. He wears a transparent neck embellishment befka, a black garment fastened with numerous small buttons, and a black cape on the shoulders. Composition: bust 3/4 right; background with a wavy magenta curtain at left, a column at right, navy-gray sky with slightly lighter clouds. Object: foreign miniature, enamelled narrow semi-convex gilded-bronze border, reverse enamel in turquoise tones. Date: 1700. Place of origin: Germany.
