Narrow oval frame made of gilded bronze. Poland place of origin., An oval painted portrait of a man set in a small oval frame with a loop at the top, the frame showing a metallic gold color with a textured inner border and a lighter gold outer rim, against a neutral gray background; the portrait shows a man with dark curly hair and sideburns, pale skin, and dark eyes, wearing a dark brown coat and a white high-collared shirt with a light-colored cravat, the painted background behind him being a muted gray.
