The background shows dense trees with deep greens and browns, and a glowing warm orange light among the trees on the left where a silhouetted figure stands near the glow. The ground in the foreground is a mix of earthy browns and grays with scattered rocks and patches of pale soil, and a distant gray-blue sky with cloud cover stretches across the upper right. A small group of lighter-toned figures is visible near the lower right, partly obscured, and the overall palette includes shades of black, white, gray, brown, green, and orange.
