In the oval: straight bust, face slightly to the right, a young, stout woman in a nun's habit — dark brown habit, white undergarment covering the neck, white robe over the shoulders, and a black veil trimmed with white ribbon. Background in the oval is brown and smooth. The oval rests on the back and outstretched wings of a black eagle with a ducal mitre on its head and the Trumpet coat of arms on its chest. The eagle holds an empty heraldic shield with a blue field in its beak and a white ribbon with a three-line Latin inscription in its talons. Background of the image is black and smooth. Dated 1733–1737. Oil painting, 106 cm × 73 cm., A worn rectangular sheet with a faded portrait of a person centered within an oval frame, the person wearing a dark hooded garment with lighter trim and a pale face visible; the portrait surface shows many translucent repair patches and creases, with areas of lighter beige tape overlapping the image, and a vertical strip of thin paper along the right side; the overall palette includes muted grays, browns, beige, black, pale yellow, and small touches of muted red and blue, and the edges of the sheet are irregular and scuffed against a darker neutral background.
