Portrait of Anna Fiedkonisowa, née Radziwill ?-1492, unknown Polish painter. Portrait of a woman, in bust surrounded by an oval laurel wreath inscribed in the rectangular plane of the painting. In the oval: a woman, shown almost in half-length, turned slightly to the left, wearing a white bonnet resembling a hat with the brim rolled up over the forehead, a white, densely ribbed ruff, a dark green dress, and a brown coat draped over her shoulders. Gold chains and pearls are on her chest this fragment is covered with tissue paper, and a pearl belt at her waist. A wreath rests on the back of a black eagle with spread wings, wearing a princely mitre on her head, with the Traby coat of arms on her chest and the Pogon coat of arms of Czetwertynska, the portrayed mother in its beak. In its talons, the eagle holds a white ribbon with a four-line Latin inscription. The background of the portrait is dark brown, the background outside the oval is black. Inscribed upper right in black paint: N 197., 1733–1737. Painting; height 106 cm, width 70.5 cm., A painted portrait of a person shown from the chest up, wearing a ruffled collar and a close-fitting cap, with a cloak draped over the shoulders; the face has a neutral expression and pale skin tones with subtle shadows. The background is dark, nearly black, and the portrait is set within an oval wreath painted in brown and gold tones. There is a diagonal strip of torn paper or tape across the middle of the image in an off-white color and another torn patch of similar color near the lower edge. The clothing includes muted green and deep maroon or brown hues, with a small area of gold detailing and a hint of red near the lower center. The outer frame and edges of the painting show worn areas in brown and reddish-brown, and the overall palette is dark with highlights of off-white, green, gold, maroon, brown, and pale skin tones.
