Portrait of Marcin Mikolaj Radziwill 1705–1782. Oval portrait surrounded by a laurel wreath inscribed in the rectangle of the image. In the oval: half-length, turned slightly to the right, a slim man in a small powdered wig with a pigtail, a white shirt with a small jabot, a pale pink caftan with gold loops, and a red cloak lined with ermine fur draped around his shoulders. The background in the oval is gray-beige, smooth, brightened on the right. The portrait rests on the back of a black eagle with outstretched wings, a ducal mitre on his head and the Trumpets Traby coat of arms on his chest. In its beak the eagle holds the Przebendowski family's coat of arms a marten standing on its paws, holding a royal orb, and in its talons a white ribbon with a six-line Latin inscription. Background outside the oval is dark, brownish-gray, smooth. After 1737; painting; height 110.5 cm, width 74 cm. Artist: Józef Ksawery Heski ?–ca. 1810. Portrait with inscription; princely coats; wigs; jabots; ermine fur., An oval-framed oil portrait of a light-skinned man wearing a powdered wig and a high-collared shirt under a pinkish-red coat with decorative buttons and a cream-colored fur-lined cloak, set against a dark brown to olive background; the painting shows signs of wear and aged canvas with patches of lighter repaired areas at the edges, torn and chipped borders, and a few small scuffs and dark spots on the surface; at the bottom there is a dark ribbon-like drapery with a group of two small heraldic medallions in muted gold and blue tones, and a pale scroll-like area beneath the portrait that has been ignored for text; visible colors include pinkish-red, cream, beige, brown, olive, black, muted gold, blue, and small areas of off-white.
