At left a small group includes a person with a horse and people in light dresses and darker coats, while nearby two large white-winged figures hover behind others. Toward center several seated and standing figures appear clustered around a man in a red jacket and a seated man in gray, with baskets and a brown cow at their feet and scattered items on the ground in earthy browns and muted greens. To the right a group of men in dark coats and top hats stand near a crouched figure in colorful striped clothing and a man being lifted on a platform by two other figures; flesh tones, ochre, and pink are visible on exposed skin. High in the left sky a parachute-like object carries two small dark-clad figures against the bluish-gray background. Overall the composition features many faces and expressive gestures, wooden and fabric textures, and a warm ochre frame bordering the image.
