Behind him is a large ornate tent with draped fabric in muted beige and gray tones and gold decoration, and to the right a distant scene showing a group of mounted and foot figures and a structure with flames, rendered in brown, gray, and ochre hues. The floor and foreground are painted in deep brown and muted red tones, and the entire scene is enclosed in a gold frame.
