On a low hooped foot, modelled-fluted with many leaves, with a slightly raised multi-petaled edge and a raised-convex mirror. The mirror, bordered with a blue string motif, depicts a woman in a green tunic and blue shawl, sitting against a landscape with architecture, with a long arrow stuck in the ground in front of her. Around the collar, on a cobalt background, a motif of four ochre oval palmettes with inscribed decoration with blue plant-ornamental grotesque motifs, alternating with bipartite white-yellowish leafy grotesque motifs on a cobalt background; around the inner edge, a light leafy creeping ornament. Imitation of the form and decoration of 16th-century Italian maiolica a'quartieri from Faenza, 1849–1870, Germany, Berlin. Plateau; height 5.5 cm, width 30 cm., A decorative round plate with a scalloped edge, primarily blue and white with yellow accents and orange panels, featuring a central circular scene showing a seated woman wearing a green dress and a light-colored shawl, holding a long thin object, with a distant landscape behind her; the surrounding field shows ornate white and yellow scrollwork on a deep blue background and several orange oval cartouches filled with white decorative motifs.
