Slightly curved porcelain handle with colorful painted flower bouquets and insects on both sides. Circa 1830. Poland Korzec?. Height 30 cm., A long flat metal blade with a rounded end engraved with a fish head and scale-like markings lies horizontally above a pale gray background, its metal showing a muted golden-silver patina with subtle uneven shading and a few small marks; the blade connects to a metal ferrule with a decorative leaf-shaped mounting and a short collar, which joins a curved glossy white handle painted with colorful floral motifs in shades of purple, red, pink, blue, green, and a small orange detail.
