Vase with lid, Prószków Slaski faience factory 1763–1853, ca. 1785. Egg-shaped soup tureen with a lid in the form of a flattened ellipsoid/hemisphere. Handles of the vase and lid are formed as two crossed ribbons. Decorated with small painted floral projections and large bouquets of multicolored flowers; on both sides of the vase and lid are bouquets with a pink rose. Handles adorned with vermilion daisies with large green leaves. Rim of the vase and cover painted brown. Porcelain/faience vessel; height 25.5 cm, length 35.5 cm. Province of Silesia Silesia., A white ceramic lidded pot with a rounded shape and a domed lid sits against a pale gray background, decorated with hand-painted floral motifs in green, red, pink, and orange; the pot has a curved handle on top and crossed ribbon-like handles on the front finished with brown brushstroke accents, and there are thin brown painted bands around the lid rim and base.
