Vase with lid, Prószków Slaski faience factory 1763–1853. Egg-shaped soup tureen with a lid in the form of a flattened ellipsoid/hemisphere. Handles of the vase and lid are in the form of two crossed ribbons. Decorated with small painted floral projections and large bouquets of multicolored flowers. On both sides of the vase and lid are bouquets of flowers with a pink rose. Handles adorned with vermilion daisies with large green leaves. Rim of the vase and cover painted brown. Ca. 1785. Province of Silesia Silesia, Prószków Slaski. Vessel. Height 25.5 cm; length 35.5 cm., A white ceramic lidded tureen with a curved handle on top and two looped side handles, all showing subtle brown brush accents, decorated with floral motifs in pink, green, orange, yellow, and touches of blue, sitting on a reflective surface against a pale gray background.
