Tin-mounted tankard, Prószków Slaski faience factory 1763–1853. White cylindrical tankard in a pewter mount. On the front is a depiction of an obese musician playing a double bass, shown in a vigorous movement. The musician wears a yellow jacket, purple pantaloons, and a lilac hat with a yellow brim. Floral sprigs on the sides. On the tin cover engraved CGH/1811. Late 18th century. Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Dimensions: height 24.0 cm, width 15.0 cm, depth 9.5 cm., A tall cylindrical ceramic stein with a metal lid and base is shown against a plain light gray background; the ceramic body is off-white and features a painted figure of a person wearing a yellow top, purple hat, pink pants, blue bows on dark shoes, and holding a large red stringed instrument with a brown neck and black endpin, with a few small blue and green floral accents visible at the side.
