Amphora vase, Imperial Porcelain Factory in St. Petersburg early 19th century, Russia. Amphora vase with an ovoid belly, slender neck flaring at the top, and high foot on a square plinth. Two handles in the form of swans. Colorfully painted: trails of small flowers on the foot, neck, and lower part of the belly. On the belly, two miniatures depicting genre scenes in a rural landscape: a woman with a pole water carrier siudy, koromyslo and a couple with a dog. Base cracked and glued. Porcelain; height 26.5 cm, width 11.0 cm, depth 9.0 cm., A ceramic vase lying on its side with a square base that shows wear and a circular opening, the vase decorated with painted floral wreaths and a landscape scene in colors including white, green, pink, blue, purple, brown, and gold, and with sculpted scroll-like handles on each side; the background is a smooth gray.
