Amphora vase, Imperial Porcelain Factory in St. Petersburg 1744–1917. Amphora vase with an ovoid belly, slender neck flaring at the top, high foot on a square plinth. Two handles in the form of swans. Colorfully painted: trails of small flowers on the foot, neck, and lower part of the belly. On the belly, two miniatures depicting genre scenes in a rural landscape: a woman with a pole water carrier siudy, koromyslo and a couple with a dog. Base cracked and glued. Early 19th century, St. Petersburg, Russia. Figurine/vase. Height 26.5 cm, width 11.0 cm, depth 9.0 cm., A white porcelain vase with a flared rim and a pedestal base, decorated with gold trim and bands of small blue and green floral motifs, featuring a painted pastoral scene of a couple standing together on the body with a small animal nearby, and ornate curved handles shaped like stylized swans attached to the shoulders; colors visible include white, gold, blue, green, brown, purple, and muted flesh tones, set against a neutral gray background.
