Night Lamp, Popow, Alexander porcelain manufacturer; 1806–1872 author, lamps, landscapes with architecture, neo-Gothic style, plant motifs. Lamp composed of three parts: base, lamp, and cover. Base with a horizontal row of holes on each side creating a decorative trail. Lamp in the form of a cube, in the neo-Gothic style; arcades in the shape of tracery painted with colorful landscapes: two with motifs of flowering bushes primrose and jasmine, floral motifs against the background of a landscape, two landscapes with an architectural motif. 19th century, Russia, Gorbunovo; lamp. Height 32.2 cm, width 13 cm., A still-life scene shows a group of decorative porcelain objects arranged against a plain gray background, including a tall rectangular vase with painted landscape panels and ornamental arches in colors of pink, blue, red, gold, green, and brown, a low rectangular dish with a white body and gold trim featuring circular relief decoration, and a pyramid-shaped cover with a white surface embellished with a scalloped pattern and gold accents; the objects rest on a reflective surface that mirrors their shapes and colors.
