Figurine of an officer of the Polish Guard, Koenigliche Porzellain Fabrique, Meissen 1710–1763; porcelain figurine. On a flat square base with gilded side edges, standing leaning against a low marbled column, a man in a purple kontusz with pink lapels, with epaulettes, a sabre strapped to the kontusz belt, a black map case slung on a belt and leaning against the column at the back; on his head is a high pink cap with black decorations and a high broken tail placed at the side. Defined signature on the bottom of the base as a Galician noble guardsman, in the Austrian service. Dated to the 18th/19th century model/marking with the letter K 1-100 from ca. 1791. Saxony; Meissen., A small painted figurine viewed from behind standing on a square base with a gold edge, showing a person wearing a long purple coat with pink shoulder accents and matching pink cuffs, a pink and gold hat topped with gold feathers, and a white hair detail at the nape; the figure has one hand on the hip and the other resting near a short cylindrical marble-patterned pedestal with green and red veining, and the base and pedestal are white with a gold band along the front edge; visible colors include purple, pink, gold, white, black, green, red, and a gray background.
