Vase lid with Imari decoration, Kaiserliche Porzellanmanufaktur in Wien 1744–1864; Imari style, Far Eastern-style floral decorations. Flat-arched lid with Imari decoration continued on the vase in a 4-part arrangement: two 6-petal brick-red cobalt half-rosettes with gilding, a lotus flower with leaves, and a peony flower on a branch with a small bud. Flat gilded button-rosette handle set on the lid in a cobalt band with a brick-red spiral. Mid-19th century; 18th century; Vienna, Austria. Decorative vessel; height 5 cm, diameter 21.5 cm., A lidded ceramic jar with a rounded body and a small knob handle on top sits against a plain gray background; the jar is predominantly white and decorated with a floral motif featuring a group of tall, slender leaves in green and blue with gold accents, several orange-red flower shapes, and additional green foliage, while the lid edge and sides show a few circular decorative panels in red, blue, and gold; the knob on the lid is gold-toned and the base rim is white.
