Double portraits in porcelain: on a flat rectangular base, two young women with arms around each other in long, antique-style dresses made of thin, draped fabric Luise, wearing sandals, with curling, mid-length parted hair. Luise puts her arm around her sister, resting her hand on her left shoulder; with her right, lowered hand she supports the folds of her dress. Friederike embraces her sister from behind around the waist, her left hand grasping her sister's arm that rests on her shoulder. Ca. 1795–1796, Berlin, Germany. Sculpture; height 55.0 cm, width 35 cm, depth 19.5 cm., A white marble sculpture of two women standing close together on a rectangular base, both wearing draped garments with detailed folds and flowing fabric; one woman has her arm around the other's shoulders while the other holds part of her drapery, their faces showing calm, neutral expressions and detailed hair, with visible toes and sandals at the base; the background is a uniform gray.
