On a flat rectangular base, two young women, arms around each other in long, antique-looking dresses made of thin fabric, draped under the bust Luiza, in sandals, with curling, parted mid-length hair. Luiza puts her arm around her sister, resting her hand on her left shoulder; with her right, lowered hand, she supports the folds of her dress. Fryderyka embraces her sister from behind around the waist, her left hand grasping her sister's arm, which is resting on her shoulder. Ca. 1795–1796, Berlin, Germany. Sculpture; height 55.0 cm, width 35 cm, depth 19.5 cm., A white marble sculpture of two draped female figures standing side by side against a gray background, each wearing flowing garments with detailed folds and gathered bodices; the figure on the left has her arm around the other and holds a draped piece of cloth in her free hand, while the figure on the right rests an arm on the other's shoulder; both have detailed hair with waves and braids and neutral facial expressions; the base of the sculpture is visible with feet and toes partly exposed beneath the robes; the visible colors are white and gray.
