On a flat, circular pedestal with rocaille merging into a tree trunk, stands a young man leaning on the trunk at waist level. In contrapposto, head turned to the right, he holds a short oval board with a handle—an instrument for stewing potatoes—resting on his right shoulder. Dressed in trousers with colorful thin stripes tied loosely at the waist with a belt, with loose ends, black shoes with a buckle, a short green jacket with box pleats, a pink waistcoat, with gold braiding and a soft cap similar to a nightcap. Ca. 1755, Saxony; Meissen. Figurine, height 13.5 cm., A porcelain figurine of a standing person wearing a white cap with purple bands, a green jacket, a pink vest, and white trousers with vertical purple and blue stripes, posed with one hand on the hip and the other holding a small dark object near the shoulder, standing beside a white sculpted support on a white base with small green and gold accents; colors visible include white, green, pink, purple, blue, dark brown, gold, and a flesh tone against a plain gray background.
