Figurine: On an oval base with rocaille and a tree trunk with a leafy branch — a young woman in a dancing running? pose, wearing a flowing flowered half-length skirt, a black-and-gold striped bodice with a small handbag tied at the back below a basque, a blouse with puffed sleeves tied at the elbow with a blue ribbon; a red sash with long ends thrown over the left shoulder and tied at the waist. Medium-length pinned-up hair falling in curls down her back, neckline, and shoulder; she wears a hat with a blue ribbon. She holds a shepherd’s staff upper part whipped resting on the head of a sheep lying at her feet; her head is tilted slightly left and she holds a flower whipped in her raised left hand. 19th/20th century after a model ca. 1750, Saxony; Meissen. Figurine, height 23.5 cm., A porcelain figurine of a woman wearing a small hat with blue and gold accents, a ruffled white blouse, a striped bodice in black and gold, and a flowing white skirt decorated with floral patterns in purple, yellow, pink, and green; she has a red sash draped across her shoulder and long gray hair, and she holds a wooden staff while standing on a white decorative base with gold highlights and green patches beside a white dog; her shoes are blue with gold details, and the background is a solid dark gray.
