Decorated with gilding sleeve channels, acanthus frieze, gold-painted and relief campanulas and four sprigs of woodcut flowers daffodils, wood violets, forget-me-nots, and brick-red balls around the foot, between the campanulas, and on the socket; also small insects and bugs. Brown border around the edge of the candle holder. Porcelain; height 24 cm, diameter 16 cm. Origin: Meissen, Saxony., A single ornate white ceramic candlestick stands against a gray background, featuring a flared base with painted floral and fruit motifs in red, green, and orange, and small painted insects in brown and black; the stem is sculpted with curving, tiered sections accented with gold highlights and delicate painted flower details in pink and green, and the top has a cup-shaped holder with a thin brown rim.
