Porcelain dish, height 6 cm, diameter 38 cm; Saxony, Meissen., A white scalloped ceramic plate with a thin dark rim sits upright on a transparent stand against a gray background, decorated with a group of colorful painted motifs including a purple sculptural form at one side beside a blue branch with red clustered blossoms, a nearby arrangement with a vertical blue element and a pale yellow striped creature or ornamental knot, and scattered small floral sprays and dots in red, blue, green, and teal across the interior and along the rim.
