Platter with a Gotzkowski relief, Koenigliche Porzellain Fabrique, Meissen 1710–1763, Gotzkowski relief; Round platter with an octagonal collar with a relief of a flower branch in four fields alternating with plain fields painted with a colorful bouquet of German flowers. In the mirror, within a relief wreath tied with a ribbon, a bouquet with a raspberry rose and a yellow carnation . On the flats of the mirror and collar—small flowers and leaves. Gilded edge heavily worn. c. 1745. Saxony; Meissen. Porcelain vessel; height 7 cm, diameter 39.8 cm., A white ceramic plate with a scalloped rim sits against a gray background, decorated with small floral motifs in purple, pink, yellow, green, and dark blue placed near the center and around the rim; the rim also shows embossed floral patterns in the white ceramic, areas of wear and small dark spots, and a thin band of darker discoloration along parts of the edge; the plate rests on a translucent stand that is visible at the bottom.
