Centered on the panel is an ornate metal escutcheon with a decorative, curved shape and embossed floral and scroll motifs, including a keyhole opening. The wood displays warm brown and golden tones with darker brown grain patterns and some small dark spots and blemishes, and the metal escutcheon appears silver-gray with areas of darker patina.
