Leaf-shaped bowl, Wierbilki/near Moscow porcelain factory; 1766–, Gardner, Francis porcelain manufactory; 1766–1917; purchase provenance. Leaves; bowl on a ring-shaped foot. Leaf-shaped bowl on a ring-shaped foot with rims cut in the shape of leaves and a triangular rim; opposite side a handle in the form of a green stem with veining. At the bottom is a bouquet with a large purple-pink flower surrounded by three small floral motifs. Reconstructed tip of the spout; abrasions of the glaze. 1775–1800, Russia. Vessel; height 9.5 cm, width 12.0 cm., A small white ceramic bowl with a scalloped rim and a few worn brown edges sits centered on a reflective surface, with a green ceramic leaf resting on its rim; the background is a uniform medium gray and the visible colors are white, green, brown, gray.
