Leaf-shaped bowl, porcelain. Maker: Gardner, Francis porcelain factory; 1766-1917 and Wierbilki/near Moscow porcelain factory; 1766- . Leaf-shaped bowl on a ring-shaped foot. Rims cut in the shape of leaves with a triangular rim; opposite side a handle in the form of a green stem with veining. At the bottom a bouquet with a large purple-pink flower and three small floral motifs. Four cracks extending from the rim; glaze abrasions. Date: 1775–1800. Place: Russia, Wierbilki. Dish. Height 9.5 cm; width 12.0 cm., A shallow white porcelain dish with a scalloped, ruffled rim edged in a darker color sits centered on a reflective surface against a solid gray background; a curved green handle extends from one side, and a small hint of pink glaze is visible inside the dish.
