Leaf-shaped bowl. Makers: Francis Gardner porcelain factory 1766–1917 and Wierbilki/near Moscow porcelain factory from 1766. Leaf-shaped bowl on a ring-shaped foot. Rims cut in the shape of leaves with a triangular rim; opposite side a handle in the form of a green stem with veining. Decoration: at the bottom a bouquet with a large purple-pink flower and three small floral motifs. Condition: four cracks extending from the rim, glaze abrasions. Date: 1775–1800. Place: Russia, Wierbilki. Function: dish. Dimensions: height 9.5 cm; width 12.0 cm. Provenance: purchase., A scalloped porcelain dish shaped like a leaf with a green stem-like handle, decorated with painted floral motifs including a prominent pink flower with yellow center and smaller orange and yellow blossoms, set against a white surface with a gilded rim; the background is gray and the dish casts a soft reflection below.
