Mustard dish with lid, Cmielów faience and porcelain factory; 1804-, floral decorations. Mustard dish with an ovoid bowl, volute handles at the edge, combined with a plate-shaped base. Slightly domed lid with a mushroom handle and a cutout for a spoon. Decoration with a blue print—wallpaper pattern with a spirally twisted tendril with fancifully twisted leaves and flowers of various sizes in the orchid type. 1840–1860. Poland; Cmielów. Vessel. Height 10.5 cm; width 12.0 cm., An ornate lidded ceramic vessel with a rounded body and two small curled handles sits centered on a shallow matching dish; both pieces display an all-over intricate floral and foliate pattern in blue on a pale cream background, with the lid topped by a small knob also patterned in blue and cream, and the dish showing a flared rim with the same blue floral decoration, all set against a solid neutral gray backdrop.
