Sugar bowl with lid, Lwów model, Cmielów faience and porcelain factory est. 1804. Floral decorations; sugar bowl with wavy walls beveled on the sides, oval cross-section, with perpendicular handles beveled at the top. Slightly domed lid with a handle-shaped finial. Around the upper edge of the sugar bowl and lid is colorful tracing paper decoration with a fish-scale motif in rococo grey frames and sprigs of purple and brick-red flowers; around the rim of the vessel and the tops of the handles—gilded borders. Tracing paper technique. 1920–1930. Poland; Cmielów. Vessel. Height 11.5 cm, width 18.5 cm, depth 11.5 cm., A white porcelain lidded dish with a rounded rectangular body and a curved handle on each side, decorated with floral motifs in purple, red, green, and touches of yellow, a decorative band in gold with gray scrollwork along the upper edge, and a white loop handle on the lid; the background is gray.
