Semi-ovoidal vase on a low pedestal base with sharply broken walls at the edges and tapering with a concave line. Vertical handles slightly extending beyond the width of the vase, raised high in the shape of fan-shaped fluted leaves. Faience and porcelain, decorated with a blue printed wallpaper pattern. Shape based on Wedgwood products see 1817 catalogue, pl.7, fig.146. Maker: Cmielów faience and porcelain factory; founded 1804. Date: 1840–1860. Origin: Poland. Vessel; height 16.0 cm, width 20.0 cm, depth 32.0 cm., A ceramic bowl with a pair of curved handles sits on a matching oval base against a plain gray background; the bowl and base are white with an intricate blue floral and vine pattern covering their surfaces, and the handles share the same blue-on-white decoration.
