Rectangular shape; on one side a male figure with moustache and beard, wearing a patterned jacket and trousers, a high hat with a feather, holding a chalice in one hand and a baton, in the other, with a plant ornament at his feet. Other side: a baby in swaddling clothes richly decorated with geometric and plant ornaments. Gingerbread form, applied/decorative folk art; folk motifs, plant ornaments. Silesia, 18th–19th century. Height 50 cm, width 19 cm, depth 4.5 cm., A vertical rectangular dark brown wooden block with visible scratches and carved grooves is centered against a smooth light gray background; the block shows worn edges and subtle variations of brown tones.
