Double-sided gingerbread mold. Obverse: sheep; reverse: hare. Woodcarving, folk-style decorations; decorative and applied art; zoomorphic motifs, gingerbread molds. Rectangular mold: one side shows a sheep standing in a meadow with its head turned forward; the other shows a running hare with a flowery meadow at its feet. Iconography: hares, lamb. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Mold. Height 15.5 cm; width 9 cm; depth 3.6 cm., A rectangular wooden panel with a carved relief of a sheep facing slightly left, showing a textured wavy fleece pattern, curled horns, a stylized face with carved eyes and snout, and slender legs standing on a decorative carved base; the wood surface shows grain variations and small knots, with visible tones of brown and tan on the panel and darker brown in the carved areas, set against a plain gray background.
