Rectangular shape; one side has an elaborate ornament of plaiting with plant and geometric elements; the other side shows two ribbons intertwined in figure-eights filled with and surrounded by lanceolate leaves. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Form. Height 14.5 cm, width 8.5 cm, depth 1.7 cm., A rectangular wooden block with a carved circular floral pattern on its top surface sits on a smooth background; the block is brown with darker brown carved areas and shows natural wood grain and worn edges, and the background is light gray.
