Double-sided gingerbread mould. Obverse: board with letters of the alphabet carved on it. Reverse: image of a running wild boar across a meadow. Double-sided rectangular mould; on one edge a date engraved: 1806, with the letter S on the background of an anchor mark of the woodcarver or gingerbread maker. Materials/subject: animals, gingerbread, folk-style decorations, wild boar iconographic, alphabet, folk motifs. Date: 1806. Place/region: Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Type: form. Dimensions: height 16 cm, width 12 cm, depth 3 cm., A vertical rectangular wooden object with a worn surface and rounded short ends, showing carved indentations and small gouges along its length; the wood is predominantly brown with lighter worn spots and a few darker marks, set against a plain light gray background.
