Double-sided gingerbread mould. Oblong rectangular mould; obverse: oval frame containing a decorative vase with flowers surrounded by a wreath of leaves; reverse: rectangular recess with a rectangular frame formed by a plant ornament featuring a rose motif and the initials E and G. Applied art, folk motifs, floral decorations; used for gingerbreads and wreaths. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Mould. Height 16.5 cm, width 11.5 cm, depth 2.7 cm., A rectangular wooden panel with a recessed central area containing a carved rectangular cartouche; the cartouche has a carved floral rosette at its center and leaflike border carving surrounding it, with a few small round holes and surface blemishes across the wood; the panel shows a range of brown tones in the wood grain, with areas of lighter tan and some darker brown patches, set against a pale gray background.
