Double-sided gingerbread form. Obverse: female figure in a hat and long patterned dress. Reverse: baby in swaddling clothes richly decorated with geometric and plant ornament. Rectangular form. Materials: form wood. Motifs: babies, plant ornaments, female figures in rich dresses, folk motifs, decorative art, folk customs. Date: 18th–19th century. Place: Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Dimensions: height 23.5 cm; width 9.5 cm; depth 2.6 cm., A rectangular wooden block rests on a smooth pale gray surface against a pale gray background, showing a carved relief of a figure in a long patterned garment and a headdress. The block is light tan to beige in color with some darker brown areas and small dark holes or blemishes along its sides. The carved figure area includes varied beige and brown tones with shadowed grooves, and the overall scene features shades of light gray, beige, tan, brown, and a few darker brown accents.
