Double-sided gingerbread form. Obverse: female figure in a hat and long patterned dress; Reverse: baby in swaddling clothes richly decorated with geometric and plant ornament. Rectangular shape; folk motifs and plant ornaments; decorative art. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Form. Height 23.5 cm, width 9.5 cm, depth 2.6 cm., A rectangular wooden panel carved in brown shows a stylized female figure in relief wearing a wide-brimmed hat and a long, patterned dress, with carved decorative leaf-like motifs around the skirt and along a horizontal band near the bottom; the figure has a simple face with circular eyes and a small nose, a necklace, and braided or tasseled details at the shoulders, and the panel surface has several small dark holes and slight cracks.
