Double-sided gingerbread mould with different representations on both sides, Glauer woodcarver or gingerbread maker, decorative arts, applied arts, farm animals, gingerbread, geometric ornaments, plant ornaments, zoomorphic motifs, human figures, Silesia Prussia; 1742–1918, folk motifs, double-sided, rectangular mould. On one side, twelve small images of animals two horses, two roosters, two crayfish, and two storks carrying babies in baskets and two decorative pipes; the other side filled with miniature elements such as children in swaddling blankets, shoes, footwraps, a cradle, a guitar, and other motifs adorned with plant and geometric ornaments. On the edge there is an inscription: Glauer: signature of the woodcarver or gingerbread maker, then the date: j.1827., 1826. Form: height 29 cm, width 10.5 cm, depth 2.4 cm., A vertical rectangular block with worn, rough surfaces and rounded corners floating against a smooth, uniform background; the block is brown with darker and lighter brown variations and small scratches, and the background is a muted light gray.
