Double-sided gingerbread form. Obverse: male figure with a moustache in a hussar uniform, wearing a fur-lined jacket, standing with legs slightly apart, leaning on a sabre held in his right hand, wearing a high shako topped by a two-headed eagle and tassel; plant ornament at the bottom. Reverse: stylized elongated fish covered with scales, depicted in profile. Rectangular form, applied art/gingerbread mold, decorative folk motifs, soldiers/hussars, historical costumes. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Height 28.7 cm; width 11.7 cm; depth 3.5 cm., A carved wooden panel in brown tones shows a relief of a standing human figure with detailed textured hair and a tall hat, wearing a textured upper garment and a belt, with visible sculpted hands and feet, and holding a long object that reaches to the base; the panel background is smooth with variations in brown, and the image also shows a pale gray background surrounding the panel.
