One-sided rectangular form with ten small images: bird, cornucopia, lamb, baby in swaddling clothes, crayfish, fish, girl in a dress, another lamb, lion, sun; on one edge a date engraved 1810 with the letter S against an anchor maker’s mark. 18th–19th century. Form: height 20.6 cm, width 12 cm, depth 4 cm., A rectangular wooden board with carved compartments containing a group of decorative relief shapes, shown against a neutral gray background; the board is brown with visible wood grain and wear, and contains a few carved figures including a sunburst with a face, a fish with textured scales, a lamb with a patterned fleece, a horn-shaped design with floral motifs, a cornucopia-like carved form, a carved spoon or ladle motif, a stylized human figure with patterned clothing, and several ornamental bird or animal head carvings; the carved areas are darker brown than the smoother surface, and there are subtle variations of tan and beige in the wood.
